To accomplish this goal, Sakata takes a pro-active role in managing its compensation program. Salaries are based on many factors including performance, the achievement of individual and company-wide goals and competitiveness within the current labor market.

Salary ranges at Sakata are very broad in order to compensate a wide variety of positions. Sakata has an integrated set of rate ranges that reflect the two major aspects of every compensation decision: the internal value of the job to the organization, and the external value of the grade as measured by what's being paid in the labor market.
